Case Study: Flight of the Conchords

May 29, 2009

As a proud kiwi and therefore having to practice absolute adoration for Flight of the Conchords (and rugby and beer etc etc), I was thrilled to discover this great case study from Deep Focus via Dave Knox’s great blog.

Well worth a spin and interesting for how the whole campaign was built around community pre-engagement before the launch of the second season. Funny that, engaging people online might actually work?!? 🙂

I also know that HBO Asia has been doing a lot of blogger relations in Singapore around the Conchords and great shows like True Blood – keep it going guys, some good stuff emerging from your online work!

Who else loves Flight of the Conchords and True Blood (my wife’s favourite!)

    Hi John
I was hoping we could use your ‘scribing’ talent for our website.

the best shows you’re not watching.com

You blogged about Flight of the Conchords which is one of our featured “BSwatch” shows. We’re hoping to round up a few people who can occasionally contribute perspective (via an article/blog) on the shows – maybe a recent episode, future direction, plot shortcomings etc.

    What’s in it for you?

Primarily a larger audience back channeled to your blog. We don’t pay but the site has a lot of promise and we’re pretty excited about getting it off the ground. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks

    T.
